Working in Cyprus

Working in Cyprus can be a real lottery.

My first try was a genuine disaster! Arrived in Cyprus at the beginning of March (so not season time yet) we took what we were offered: working 16 hours a day, no break, no day off, for just a crappy accommodation with no electricity and some food leftovers…just like little slaves, but happy ones, with big dreams, enjoying the first rays of sun, the warm breeze in the hair and the smell of freedom at the horizon…
Don’t get me wrong, you can also be very very lucky (I know some!) you can find a good job with fine payment and a very nice boss but don’t think for one second that it’s easy! For nobody (ever!) is easy to work in a foreign country as an immigrant. So remember: tones of work, but if you know and want to enjoy life the rewards and fun are also huge.

  5. Yes, I suppose you're right. I can hardly wait some articles with the real deal. What sucks in Cyprus and shit. You know me.. bring it on.. girl!!! Happy, happy, joy, joy, pink and white ponies (or cats) is quite boring.
